The School Development Society meeting was held in Balangoda Damahana school main hall. Principal, vice principal Teachers and parents were participated .We get more important decisions that effect to the system. One of is to held School Sport Meet in the next year. We thank all the Parents those who are participated than we expect.

Balangoda Damahana public school’s ICT society participated ICT exhibition was held in pelmadulla Gankanda Central College on 07th and 8th November. The students got a new experience of performance and technology.
.Heavy rain falls.
Since first of January it gets heavy rain to Balangoda area. Because of the heavy rainfall the roads have become imotorable condition. The crops in the area which farmers have grown destroyed .Therefore the poor farmers repent of the disaster.
2. A transformer blasting
Lightening flashes with the heavy rains struck to a transformer at Welange .The C.E.B has estimated the expenditure to repair it of about LKR 1,50,000 .Immediately the C.E.B has taken necessary actions to renovate the problem.
1. A water supplimentary project is being established at Welange area.
The villagers have showed to the authorities a place where they can get water even in drought season too.This water spring is situated at Thundola area which is near the forest " Helauda Mukalana". The officers mean to supply water to every house in the area.From this project drinking water problem can be avoided for 150 families.
2. A new library to Damahana Maha Vidyalaya
Though Damahana Maha Vidyalaya is a big school in Damahana area, still there are no library facilities. So the children have faced for many difficulties at their educational field.The students have to go to Balangoda public library, to get extra knowledge for their education .But it is a trouble for them. Because they have to spend a lot of money and much time.
But, happy to say the students of R/Damahana Maha Vidyalaya could have to get a chance of having a well equipment library.The expenditure of the library has been estimated about L.K.R. 2.3 milions.
